What are the processing techniques for copper sheets?

There are various processing techniques for copper sheets, each with its specific application scenarios and advantages. The following are some of the main processing techniques for copper sheets:

1. Milling: A machining method in which copper sheets are placed on a milling machine and the cutting tool rotates along the surface of the copper sheet to remove the desired shape. This process can produce copper sheets of various shapes, such as flat, curved, convex, etc. Milling technology has the characteristics of high efficiency and precision, and is commonly used to produce precision parts and molds.

2. Cold stamping: Place the copper sheet on a cold stamping machine and apply pressure through a mold to punch the copper sheet into the desired shape. This process enables copper sheets to obtain high-precision shapes without changing their basic properties, and is widely used in the manufacture of electronic component casings, conductive sheets, and so on.

3. Hot rolling and cold rolling: Hot rolling uses plastic deformation at high temperatures to manufacture copper sheets, with smooth surfaces and stable physical properties, but at a higher cost. Cold rolling is processed at room temperature, with a high degree of work hardening. Copper sheets have high density and tensile strength, but poor corrosion resistance and formability.

4. Stretching copper sheets: Using tension to deform copper rods into copper sheets, this process produces copper sheets with high density and smooth surface, but also relatively high cost.

5. Surface treatment: Common surface treatment methods include electroplating, spraying, polishing, etc., which can increase the brightness, corrosion resistance, and decorative effect of copper sheets.

6. Hand crafted copper: This is a traditional handicraft method that uses copper hammers and wooden hammers to flatten copper sheets on specially designed stacked wood, forming a basic shape, and using molds or wooden hammers to process the desired curved shape. Finally, polish and decorate to make the surface of the copper sheet smooth.
